Rob Lamb co-founded Production and Satellite Services (PSSI) in 1987 after graduating from the United States Naval Academy with a Bachelor of Science in management and technology, earning his master’s degree in motion picture producing from the University of Southern California, and spending several years managing event production and coordinating international satellite transmissions for Netcom Communications.
Under Rob’s leadership, PSSI has grown exponentially from a television production and satellite transmission services startup with one uplink truck into an industry leader with the nation’s largest fleet of trucks and facilities based throughout North America. Rob’s strategic mindset and business expertise have been instrumental in the company’s numerous acquisitions — including the acquisition of Strategic Television in 2004 — and he plays a key role in maintaining the company’s reputation as a trusted resource for some of the biggest names in the corporate, entertainment and broadcast industries.
Rob also received his wings in Pensacola, Florida, as an F-4 Radar Intercept Officer and later served with VF121 at Miramar NAS prior to his honorable discharge as a disabled veteran.
